My Experience at the Beach

            As I walk along the never ending shore, I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my tired out feet, giving them a massage. The soothing atmosphere takes me into a world of peace. This beach is a cure to all my problems. All my worries are erased once I'm here. I am bathed in sunlight as I let my body absorb the rays of the sun on this luminous summer day. The sounds of the majestic oceans have calmed me, taking away my obligations. I sit down in my comfy chair realising that summer does bring happiness. Children are building sand castles and pleasurably eating their rapidly melting away chocolate ice cream. To my right I observe a humongous cliff. Looking at this wonderful construction of nature in disbelief, I realise how small we are on the great canvas of nature. This stunning scenery simply defeats me to nothing more than a poor apology of a man. I hear a couple laughing and enjoying a good book. Everyone is having a great time. .
             At this point I give up. I can no longer fight the harsh rays of the sun on a now scorching summer day. I run as fast as I can towards an endless pool of crystal blue water. A pool that my body sees as a cool heaven. I am refreshed as I peacefully float among the merging waves. I am unaware of the waves that are soon to break over me. A monstrous wave has just overtaken me; its strong force knocks me to the bottom of the ocean. I am awakened as I am carried back to shore. I return to my peaceful little spot back on the beach. I quickly find myself once again baking under the warmth of the blistering sun.
