The Motivation To Succeed

             "In Praise of the F Word", by Mary Sherry she states "We must review the threat of flunking and see it as it really is-a positive teaching tool." I strongly believe that fear of failure is a good motivator for people to succeed. Perhaps that positive reinforcement is not always the key to success it the scarce thought of failing that will help you become motivated to succeed. The motivation to succeed is a positive outlook on life that will really help you succeed. The fear of failure is a wonderful way to help people get motivated so they will get the desire to want to succeed.
             Everybody wants to succeed in the world now days. Motivation is something that motivates; an inducement or incentive. It takes motivation to be successful. It may not always be viewed as positive way to correct behaviors but putting the fear is good way to get someone motivated. Failure is nonperformance of what is requested or expected. Some people do not have any motivation until fear of fear failure becomes an issue. To succeed is to accomplish something desired or intended. I didn't want to go to school until the teacher scared me and told me that if I didn't start going to class I may fail the class. I guess I didn't have enough motivation until I had fear of possible failure. I thought to myself this is my career and I have the desire to go to school with the intentions of becoming as nurse.
             In high school students this is a very positive tool to use. There are so many students who want to drop out of school and this can affect there futures. If they have no high school diploma they may no be very successful in anything else they may attempt doing. They may have to work in a fast food restaurant the rest of there lives. It can be used to put fear into to those who think it cool to drop out of school. This is also good for the teenage mothers out there, it goes to show that if there education is not continued as well this may affect there future for themselves and there unborn child.
