Time

I have always been the type of person to wait until the last minute. I won't start working on something that needs to be finished the next day until the night before it is due. I worked for many years to break this habit, but recently I have fallen back into that mindset. This has been caused by a number of factors; most notably, I just do not have the time for everything I want to do anymore. I know and accept that I am a procrastinator. What kind of person are you? Are you the type that procrastinates until the last minute, like me, or do you finish well ahead of time?.
Time management is the key to everything. As Carl Sandberg said, "Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent. Be careful that you do not let other people spend it for you." Managing your time correctly can mean the difference between having the time you need and not having enough time to do your best. The person that does things at the last minute often uses there time extremely inefficiently. They take far too long to do even a simple task because they always find other things to do in the middle. Whereas the person who is finished ahead of time uses there time efficiently. The person sits down to accomplish a task and does not stop until it is completed. They are quick to start and motivated to finish so they can accomplish the things whey want really want to do. The procrastinator does everything they want to do first, or in the middle of what they really need to do. They often find, they do not have time to do complete their task to the standards they would like.
This inefficient usage of their time often leads to their work being less than 100%. The person that finishes ahead of time has time to revise and make sure it is exactly the way they want it and is there personal best. They can complete something and have it be a final work precise and need while the procrastinator's work is often rough, rushed, and unrefined.
