Exams

When I study for exams I like to start as soon as possible as I can. I like to keep going over the information repeatedly so I know it by heart when the test day comes. I have a lot of great techniques I use to study for exams that other people can use.
When I get the material that's going to be on the test I like to read over it two or three times. I like to make flashcards so I can take them everywhere I go. They help me remember the terms a lot easier than just reading it from the book. When I am studying it has to be completely quite, so I like to go to the local library or computer lab at the school. If I know somebody in the class I like to have study groups because we can quiz each other on the information and look at each other's notes to see if we missed anything from the lecture. Most of the time I will have my mom or sister ask me questions out of the book, or have them make a little practice test for me. Sometimes I will photo copy important tables or graphs from the textbook to study from. I always like to eat breakfast the morning before the test; it gives me my energy for the day, I also like to go to bed at a good time so I"m not tired the next day. When I"m driving to school on a test day I like to turn off my radio and read the flashcards out loud, it refreshes my mind about the material I studied the nights before. I like to get to the class about ten minutes before the class starts so I can go over my notes or if I had any questions for the teacher that I didn't understand.
I asked some of my friends how they study for a big exam and some of them said they study every night for a couple of hours, and some said they don't study at all because they already know the material from going to the lecture. Some others said they read the material and notes only once and that's the night before. They like to cram in everything that they can and they say it works for them. They find the most important details or words that are bold and just go over those terms.
