My Life

            My parents were both pretty young, both xx years old, and had been married for two years. I had one older brother and when I was five I received one younger brother. Throughout my life I have moved to many different areas, both around Salinas and also different states. .
             As a young child my family and I moved frequently. I usually did not stay at a school for more than two years, two weeks being the shortest. This really did not bother me much because I always had my older brother with me. I moved to asdf two different times by the time I was in the second grade. .
             My parents had a pretty rocky marriage while I was growing up, eventually ending in a divorce when I was a sophomore in high school. I really was not affected by this because I wanted to have a normal life and I knew that I would not get one until both of my parents were happy. Until their divorce I kept myself busy and out of the house. I was always involved in some type of after school activity and showed real talent in sports. Keeping myself busy with these activities made coming home to arguing and fighting a lot easier. I knew that I could just lock myself in my room or go outside and practice different things. .
             When I was a junior in high school my mom re-married and moved to asdf. I stayed in California and lived with my grandma so that I could stay in school and not have to leave my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I decided that after I graduated we would also move to asdf and attend college. .
             I am now attending asdf and perusing my bachelor's degree in childhood education. I am getting married this coming June and plan on moving to asdf for graduate school. I am very content with my life as it is now because I know that for the first time in my life I have a stable home.
