Journal

            This past week I was thinking a lot about what we I learned in class and how I would like to try to form a relationship with a girl again. I wanted to form a relationship for my own entertainment and to be less lonely. I was at a club on Thursday night and met a new girl. I went up to her and introduced myself and found out that her name was Amanda. We danced for a while and I bought her a few drinks. At the end of the night we talked for a little while and we exchanged phone numbers. After I left the club all I wanted to do was to talk to her and get to know her. The next day I called her and we talked that night for a while and we made plans to hang out. We are supposed to hang out next week some time, and hopefully it will go good. Right now we are in the contact stage of forming our relationship. As I learned in class the next step is the involvement stage, and we already made plans to hang out. Hopefully this relationship will pass the involvement stage and move onto the Intimacy stage.
             Last class we discussed in groups about relationships and how they were good and bad. I thought they were bad until the rest of my group told me otherwise and pointed out all of the great benefits of being in a relationship such as, caring and loving someone, having someone to be there for you ect . Now I now that relationships can be very beneficial. .
