However, in the second half in the background, there is an impressed man gazing at the woman. The presence of the man and wedding ring on her finger, I think, symbolized that Trushay lotion is how to get and keep a man, which was very important in those times. Also noted was the contrast in color symbolizing both the night and day life. In this image it appears that because of Trushay lotion, the woman displayed is still capable of maintaining a happy and well-rounded life and luxurious life because of her flawless skin.
             This ad tries to convey that Trushay is one product that works well enough to be accepted in two different lifestyles. It shows that it is okay and is feasible to be taking care of house duties and still be in the "in- crowd with the latest fashions and looks. This ad leads one to believe that it has the power to break all social barriers. Upholding proper care of skin using Trushay lotion would reflect and classify the type of lady she is.
             I think this ad uses logical appeal. It makes sense to get a product that is multi-purpose, economical, and practical that can disguise your social status by compensating both lifestyles. This lotion seems to be women's best kept secret. However, if the surface of this ad is only studied then Trushay lotion would simple be perceived as a great skin smoother that will provide luminous skin, while doing chores or going for a night out. I disagree with the stance that the underlying message of this particular ad does not focus on the ingredients of the lotion but the lifestyle it is claiming to provide. It wants to leave the consumer assuming and inquiring after a hopeful end result which is the perfect woman. This ad wants to give the impression to ordinary and simple women that this look is attainable and affordable and that this "double-life- is a must for all women.
             The second product that I selected is Birds-eye orange juice. This is another product which holds the same motives of creating the perfect model of a woman.
