             It's a wonder how some things become so influential to a great number of people. It is even a greater wonder if that thing changes a country's lifestyle or even a nation's customs. We are all familiar with the word "trend" and these events and things are exactly that. .
             One of these so called trends that have been globally affecting the lives of every human being is the use of the cellphone. So what do these miniature phone devices actually do? Well it has been one of the revolutionary inventions of the 20th century. Before the invention of the cellphone, communications between people from any part of the globe have been virtually impossible. Distance and location have been the primary concern of communication. During the invention of the telephone, communication have been possible but only through a low level of urgency and convenience. For example, telephoning a friend who is located in another country requires a lot of time patience mainly because of busy signals and oftentimes telephone operator incompetence. Operator assisted telephone calls usually takes up a lot of time. Cellphone on the other hand gives you the convenience of calling somebody wherever you are. Thanks to the cellphone, you now also have the option of sending your loved ones a simple text message saying all the things they want to hear every single day which costs a lot less than an overseas call. The cellphone has been so popular that it has become a necessity nowadays and even had recently hit demand from the so called "lower-class" people. The rise for the demand of these cellphones not only justifies it's true function but also signifies a country's staggering interest of technological development. And of course, it truly is a TREND. .
