When I first found out I was in the hallway coming from my third period class. Katie told me in the hallway a plane hit the World Trade Center. At the time I didn't know where or what the World Trade Center was but soon I would find out. Since I didn't know how big the World Trade Center was I was only worried about a plane hitting some sort of building. I knew people would die but I never knew it would be a big thing. When I got home I found my brother and his friend at home, they said they came back when they heard about it. .
As I watched the T.V. screen the reality of the situation came to life. I saw people running. People were crying. It was like a scene out of a movie but in a movie everything turns out O.K. It didn't happen that way. I remember seeing a scene where the debris covered everything. It was almost like snow but this was "deadly snow". Then I saw the South tower collapse. It was so unreal. Just when you think it can't get any worse the North tower collapses. .
I sat there in astonishment and so many thoughts went through my mind like why? Why would someone do such a horrible thing? Revenge perhaps? I don't know. If there was a problem they could have told us! If they had thousands of lives could have been saved that day but no, they never spoke up.
