Library

The library is a useful tool when you are trying to write an essay or doing any research. Our library is located on the 4th floor and it has many valuable resources that you can use for your study.
The first thing you should do if it's your first time in the library is update your student id. With this you can access information on the computer like a search tool called lexis nexis. You can also take out books as if you had a regular library card.
The library has plenty of computers that will help you do your research. These computers give you access to the internet, location of library books, and many search tools that will help you look up articles from either a magazine or journal. Also when it comes to the time of year when you need to make your classes you can do it here.
The books in the library are broken up into sections that make it easier to find what you are looking for. Before looking for a book you should look for the reference number. This will pinpoint exactly where the book is and it will tell you whether the book is available or not.
Not all books can be taken out of the library. Books in the reference section can only be used in the library. If you need something from these books you should make a photocopy.
There are powerful search tools that you can use to help you with your research. You can use EBSCO or lexis nexis. Another great thing about this is you can send yourself an email of what you find so you can continue your search when you go home. Just make sure you do not delete it since it will be sent with a strange email address.
When it comes to doing research there is no better to be. There are a lot of tools that will help you find what you are looking for. Also if you are stuck in anyway there is a librarian that is very helpful and knows what he/she is doing. .
