Cloning

Using the same process we use now to decide custody of a child when parents divorce, except slightly modified to take into account that the DNA is not a child yet, we can decide which parent will earn the rights to their child's DNA. When that parent wins the court case, they can decide whether or not to go through with the Cloning process. Now, if the mother is the one who does not wish to go through with the process, then another problem arises. What will Dad do? A surrogate mother is the obvious choice, but that probably would mean the end of the marriage. .

When somebody is dead, they only have one way of letting people know what they want to do, and that is by leaving a will. Many people write their will decades before they die. For the years to come, a lot of people may not even think twice about the possibility of cloning themselves after they have passed on. What if somebody dies, but does not want to be cloned? This becomes a major issue for religious people, because some believe that a cloned person does not have a soul. Human cloning is interfering with God's natural work. If one chooses not to be cloned after death and they put that in their will, their wishes should be respected, but that doesn't mean they will be. .
After a successful cloning, what would stop someone from cloning the same person ten times, or even one hundred times? This would bring about much confusion later in life. In a worse case scenario we have several hundred clones living in the same state, or even city. If even one of these clones commits some kind of atrocious crime, it becomes near impossible to find the right one. DNA testing will be useless, as a couple hundred other people carry the same DNA. Another issue could be breeding people for specific tasks. If it is ok to clone people as much as they want, then we could clone people specifically for certain jobs; Those who are naturally strong, for intense physical labor, or those who are naturally intelligent for more mentally challenging jobs.
