Fascism once described as the great political surprise of the twentieth century. "Fascisms main objective was to provide a quasi-religious alternative to Marxism" . This political surprise was a new social, political and economic system, which would overcome government dichotomies such as, private vs. public as well as individual vs. collective decisions. "Fascism is the complete opposite of Marxian Socialism, the materialist conception of history of human civilization can be explained simply through the conflict of interests among the various social groups and by the change and development in the means and instruments of production" . And above all Fascism denies that class-war can be the preponderant force in the transformation of society, as characterized with Mussolini's rise to power. "The Mussolini dictatorship, steeped in the holy horror that all the components of fascism in all periods felt for democracy, finally produced a regime from which all elements of socialist origin were banished" .
             Laudable and Heroic Mussolini.
Benito Mussolini over the course of his lifetime went from Socialism to the leadership of a new political movement called fascism. During many years, Italy was faced with false, disloyal leaders, and Mussolini came and augmented Italy and became the spokesman of a nation betrayed by its leaders, who could only make Italy dependent on Germany and Austria . "He was the leader who succeeded where his mentors had so lamentably failed" , Mussolini was far more involved in the process of governing and accomplishing the Italian Nationalist dream than many of the Italian leaders during the Socialist period in Italy. Many would say Mussolini was a blessing from God, a hero who was an extraordinary tactician, who knew exactly how to take total advantage of all opportunities the Socialist party offered him . "Mussolini was predestined, elected by God and history. He was the greatest man who ever lived, the highest incarnation of the Italian race" .
