II. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION.
A. Job Description.
My official job title is a CIA (Customer Insurance Agent) for the Claims Processing Department. This position is the basic customer service representative position, which is the first level of technical support that customers contact when they experience problems with their wireless handheld.
B. Responsibilities.
The main responsibility for the CIA position, is to troubleshoot malfunctioning problems that a customer has with their wireless handheld. A CIA is also responsible for processing an Insurance claim for a customer if the wireless handheld is physically broken or lost/stolen, and answering general questions about the Insurance. A CIA handles the scheduling of Deliveries of shipments for the customers if there is problem that requires a replacement of a handheld. Lastly we handle call-backs to customers, whose problems could not be resolved while on the phone or just required further researching on their issue.
