With such an unexpected uprising, this dream was too good to be true, and Thatcher's secret of not being of noble birth was out. While waiting to face his death and watch his dream slip away, Thatcher's chance of becoming a great Knight was now over. However, the King showed Thatcher mercy since he faced him in battle, knowing that he was still the King. Therefore, King Eric knighted Thatcher signifying he was able to face Ademher, and be a true Knight. Sir William Thatcher would go on to face and defeat Ademher and win the love of Jocelyn and the people.
Eight Seconds was what Lane Frost lived for. From the time Lane Frost was a kid all he wanted to do was ride bulls. From being raised on a farm and riding bulls all throughout high school, Lane was determined to be a bull rider and be the best at it. He continued to show this throughout his life. Influenced by his most trustworthy friends Tuff Hedeman and Tony, he unrelentingly chased his desire to be the World Champion bull rider. Riding in and winning different events, Lane was starting to establish himself as one of the best bull riders in the circuit. With many great accomplishments under his belt, Lane's father continued to discourage the fact that Lane was a bull rider and made known to Lane it would not accomplish anything for him of any significance. Lane never let discouragement affect him and he maintained a positive attitude and believed in himself. Eventually Lane would meet a girl who he would also pursue. Trying his best to win her love and the love of his father he worked hard at making his ultimate dream come true. Only opposition would face him ahead inside and outside the rodeo ring. Lane would face difficult times because of one particular bull he had never ridden and another man moving in on what was no longer his love interest but his wife. All these misfortunes would drive Lane at the world championships and he would later become the circuit's world champ, and restore his relationship with his wife.
