Tattoo

According to John Leo, ‘’ Cultural crisis can’t really be dealt with by letting loose our personal obsessions and marking up our bodies’’, I myself totally agree with this statement. Have anyone ever thought about the affect of having a piercing? The following series of paragraphs will explain how people with piercing are looked at by society today. Most of society doesn’t really know the background of piercing. Today society can be very cruel and judgmental to new and different things and I will give you my sight on piercing.

People get piercing for several different reasons. They might not always be the right reason but they still get them. People get body piercing due to peer pressure. Other people get piercing to fit into a certain group that they want to be included into. Some teenagers get piercing to be rebellious against their own parents. Others get it done because they see a piercing as something beautiful and want to add that beauty to their own body. Some people even get it done simply for sexual stimulation of that particular body part that is pierced. The main age groups that seem to get piercing are 17 to 25 even though there are some grandmas out there getting all pierced up. In today’s society peopl

What happen if it is something that you have to get due to the rules of a religion? If it is something that you got from your parents who also joint that religion, it will be fine to everyone since you got the rights to keep it and responsible for that. However in reality, it is not like that. People will join a religion first and after that they will have to get some piercing. The reason why they have to get it is that religion needs something to separate them with the other religion. Although it is not good to have it, you have to keep it since it is your choice to join this group. So it wasn’t really anyone’s fault since everyone got their rights to choose whatever they want to do and they have to get ready for whatever the results they will probably get later on.

On the other hand, we also have to consider about its usage. Basically, there is nothing to mention about its usage except for body decoration as John Leo mentioned about in his writing. Although some tattoos are extremely wonderful as it can be consider an art product, somehow it’s still make people think bad about the person who carries it. The more complicated a piercing has, the worse people will think about it and the person who carries it. This point of view is going to be a big deal for anyone future When someone who has a piercing that can’t cover and he goes for an interview for a job, he probably will be very impressive at the first sight but in a not very good way. So is it a bad or good thing to have piercing?
