Young couples in the thralls of first love, oblivious to the world around them, and happy television advertisement families play endlessly with mindless expressions of joy blanketing their sugar coated faces. I can make out a solitary figure in the distance moving in my direction. A sense of familiarity suddenly moves over me in crashing waves, and my heart ... a time, a truth that is not often acknowledged.
