College of Choice

I found out that for one to be accepted to a college, they usually have to have a high school diploma with a certain GPA and/or SAT score or a waiver, or a GED, I believe it's called. I also knew that colleges were not confined to the U.S., that they are indeed spread throughout the world, though many countries do not have the luxury of fine institutions such as theirs. I had read that one definition of a college was that it is an institution for higher learning. .
I"m writing this report to learn about which institutions are the best for me, and what field I should pursue. I want to learn about the potential of the colleges of my choice to provide me with a good education and a decent job after graduation. I want to know what schools are best in this area as well as throughout the United States. I also want to get a good grade in English class because I did exceptional during the 2nd Quarter and I am not pleased with my poor progress thus far.
My search has gone okay, I suppose. I have a lot of schoolwork to do as I often have homework everyday in five of my classes. I was in the process of moving during this assignment and that stressed me to some degree. It made it harder in that my moving, coupled with work and school left me little time for research. It also led me to use this program that doesn"t seem to support headers. At least I haven"t been working as much as I used to. It has gone well enough, I suppose. The Internet was very useful in my search. Not only did it offer a wealth of information, but also it offered the names of potential interviewees and how to contact them.
The first of the colleges of my choice is Chowan College. I learned about the existence of this institution via the College Foundation of North Carolina's web-site, www.cfnc.org. It is located at 200 Jones Drive, Murfreesboro, NC 27855-1844. (Chowan web-site) It is roughly 222.7 Miles from my residence, with an approximate driving time of four hours and four minutes.
