This led to rage from the Germans to the government and they hated the fact that the government accepted the treaty without any comment whatsoever. Because of the Germans and their anger towards the government, Hitler was able to gain even more support. Many workers turned to communism, but it frightened wealthy businessman. Therefore they decided they would finance Hitler's campaigns. They decided they needed a stronger government, and so they turned to Hitler. .
The Nazi propaganda and campaigning was extremely successful and was able to help Hitler come to power and become Chancellor. "The Nazi campaign methods were modern and effective. They relied on generalised slogans rather than detailed politics. " Joseph Goebbels was the minister of propaganda and national enlightenment. The minister of Propaganda, Goebbels made sure of two things; "nobody could read or see anything hostile or damaging to the Nazi party and the views of Nazis were shown in the most persuasive manner possible. " Propaganda was the art of persuasion, the Nazis were able to manipulate that really well. They constantly talked about uniting Germans as one behind one leader, Hitler. The Nazis constantly repeated to the public how they believed the Jews, Communists, the Weimar politicians and the Treaty of Versailles were what caused Germany's problems. They showed disdain for the way Weimar's democratic system worked and they said it would not be able to solve economic problems in Germany at all. They were able to use the peoples fear of instability to depict Hitler as a man with great vision, power and security. He was viewed as a great leader because of all the successful propaganda and campaigns. .
A big advantage that Hitler had was that he had brilliant oratory skills that was able to convince the people which helped him gain power as well. His eyes in particular, gave a lot of power during his speeches and were able to accompany his many hand gestures.
