The program may cost a little in the beginning, but in the long run this program could save a student's life. This bullying prevention program could change lots of lives, and kid's attitudes about bullying, because after seeing the videos they would see what other kids feel when being bullied.
Bullying has always been a big issue in schools with students, but it has also been an issue at work places with associates. No matter the age of a person, bullying can and will always happen, even in a professional work place. When it comes to bullying at work it is defined as an abuse or misuse of power. Someone at a work place who has the upper hand over others is more likely to be the one bullying the ones who have little to no power, so to speak. The bullying of a single worker can very easily be instigated if the boss has a favorite, or a group of favorites. They will single out that one worker, and do what they can to bring him/her down. The Legislation for the Commission's Jurisdiction has heard many complaints of bullying in the work environment. The Commission stated, "that an employee found to be bullying should have no contact with the applicant, make no comment on the latter's clothes or appearance, not send any emails or texts to the applicant except in emergency circumstances, and ordered that both parties not come to work and leave work by a particular time." The Commission has also found that the reports of bullying claims have been increasing over the years. Some companies take these claims serious and pursue the complaints to the people higher up, and some even go as far as setting up an investigation. The Commission did find that there was one particular case where a worker had filed a claim, and later an investigation had been put in place, and the investigation was successfully carried through. Even bullying in a work environment is very harmful to people, and it does put their career on hold because they aren't able to focus on their job.
