The 9/11 Tragedy

On September 11, 2001, it was the most perfect day and there were blue skies, perfect weather, a sense of calmness in the air. Suddenly, a plane comes crashing into the North Tower of World Trade Center at 8:45 a.m. No one was expecting anything. Everyone is in panic mode and starts crying and trying to get out of the building as soon as possible. Nobody would think that the second tower was gonna hit. Well, at 9:03 a.m., the second tower gets hit. By now, everyone is calling their friends and families to make sure they are okay and not in the building. Sadly, many innocent and very good people died. Many people jumped out of the building to end the torture and they probably did it because they didn't want to burn alive. 9/11 was a very tragic day. We lost many lives but we continue to strive on and try to forget the past to make new plans for your future.
September 11, also called as 9/11, will stay in our hearts forever. Even in future generations, everyone could see the videos online and feel the pain they felt in 2001. So, this is how the whole day goes. It was 8 in the morning and the day was like a day in a fairytale. It was the perfect weather and everyone's mood was happy and calm. People were going to work or were getting ready for work. All of a sudden, BOOM! The North Tower of the World Trade Center got hit by a hijacked plane at 8:45 a.m. You see people everywhere in shock and calling their family and friends to see if they are okay or not. Everyone and everything was chaotic. Then, BOOM! At 9:03 a.m., another hijacked plane came crashing into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Now, it was pretty obvious this was all planned. Planes can't just come out of nowhere and crash into both towers. So many innocent people died that day. There is a memorial today and it was where the World Trade Center was. It has every innocent person's name that died that horrible day. Today, near the memorial is the Freedom Tower.
