             His second attempt, Joni Lentz, was not killed. Joni was a shy, friendly 18-year-old student of the University of Washington. She was in her basement apartment, sleeping, when Bundy attacked on January 4, 1974. She had been beaten in the head with a metal rod taken from her bedpost. The rod was then jammed into her vagina, causing internal injuries. Afterward, Lentz remained in a coma for a few months. .
             Lynda Ann Healy was Bundy's third killing. Lynda was tall, slim, 21 .

When her roommates had gone down to wake her up that morning, they found nothing. Her bed was nicely made, but it was made differently than usual. As one roommate pulled down the sheets she found that they were covered with dried blood. They soon began to look for her and found her bloody nightgown neatly hanging in the closet. Police were notified immediately. On March 12, 1975 her body was found on Taylor Mountain. .
             His next abduction was Donna Gail Mason. Donna was 19 years old, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen on her way to a jazz concert near Olympia, Washington. Her disappearance was reported as a missing persons case and was not responded to quickly enough. Her body has never been found. .
             On April 17, 1974 Susan Elaine Rancourt disappeared. She was shy, quiet, smart, 18 years old, 5 feet"2 inches, 120 pounds, and had blue eyes and blonde hair. The first forty-eight hours of her case were treated as if she were a runaway. Her skull was later found on Taylor Mountain. .
             Roberta Kathleen Parks was his next victim. She had long ash-brown hair, and was 20 years old, tall, slim, and was kidnapped before 11 pm on May 6th. She was last seen at Oregon State University. Her skull was also found on Taylor Mountain. .
             His seventh known attack, Brenda Carol Ball, was also slaughtered.
