Other rooms that had no visual access to the outer space were smaller and less expensive.
On the bridge of the large cruiser, Calamarian crewmen monitored the ship interior with dozens of security cameras to prevent sabotage and maintain security. It was not quite designed to monitor the ship's systems, only to pilot the ship and make sure everything worked perfectly as planned. Captain Ackher sat on his command chair that could move with a robotic arm. Behind him, five other Calamarians were monitoring the cruiser with the cameras. Another was working to plot a course toward Corellia that would take them near planets that were excellent places for sightseeing. One beside him was monitoring the flight of the shuttles that brought passengers up and down. An alarm on his control panel alerted him of the arrival of five Imperial Star Destroyers. Ackher wondered why the Imperials were paying attention to this faraway planet near the edge of the galaxy.
Attention, Calamari Star Cruisers, a voice said over the communications system. This is the Star Destroyer Subjugation . Disengage your thrusters and remain in orbit of the planet until further notice. .
Ackher wondered what the order was all about. He ordered Engineering to disengage their propulsion and waited. He announced to the passengers that there would be a slight delay in there departure time, but the passengers did not really care. Ackher waited five minutes, and nothing happened. He suddenly realized that the shuttles had stopped moving the passengers to and from the planet. Then he saw landing craft and their fighter escorts appear from the belly of all five Destroyers. He thought that the Empire might just be building a new base on the planet surface. He watched as the landing craft entered the atmosphere and disappeared from his vision. Then the TIE Fighters moved near the cruisers and flew around them. Several TIE Fighters then began firing! They were under attack!.
