Cobra Event


             All you feel is a slight irritation in your eye, and your nose is running and you have the occasional cough. No big deal right? Well it isn't until pints of blood are gushing through your nose. Your lateral spine turns into a crescent moon. Your shaking uncontrollably and you just bit off your tongue. All your problems flow into your hands that start clawing at your skull. You look into the mirror and you notice that your skull is exposed. This is your last glimpse of life. Soon your body is a mere crater with your skin folded back in a Y and all your organs are gone. This is the affect of the Cobra virus.
             Kate felt alright. She didn't want to miss school. She thought she only had a little touch of the common cold. So she went to school. While she was sitting in art class he nose started to bleed profusely and she began having uncontrollable seizures. Soon Kate was dead. Days before a homeless person known as "Harmonica Man" had the same sudden strike while on the subway. Then an antique dealer dies of yet the same illness.
             Curiosity, and fear, strikes the local New York Health department official. He calls his friend at the Center For Disease Control (C.D.C). He sends a young agent by the name of Dr. Alice Austen to New York to investigate. Mean while in Iraq U.N weapons inspectors become suspicious of an out of the way building. Upon investigation they find everything to be normal except for a Curious Door. Upon entering the door weapons inspector Mark Littleberry finds a lab in the back of a truck. The truck takes and Littleberry fights against the guards and gets a sample of a crystalline structure in what appears to be a bioreactor used for growing viruses. The scene shifts back to New York Where Austen and Dr. Nathanson, who requested C.D.C help are performing an autopsy of Kate. Upon the ending of the autopsy Austen concludes that Kate has died of some strange unknown illness, and she had symptoms of a common cold.
