College Student

Finally after what seemed an eternity the teacher walks in to break the silence. She introduces herself and takes attendance. She informs us about what this class includes and will be involved. She hands us three pages stapled together that basically has all the information just said in one packet. .
             My first class is over and it's time to move to my second class of the day. I scramble to find my schedule in the mess contained inside my backpack. Finally finding it I search for Career Planning on the list to see what room this class is held in. I notice that it is at least in the same building but it is on the ground floor so I would have to walk down two flights of stairs. I make it to the bottom to see many people sitting outside a room. Our teacher hadn't shown up yet to unlock the room. Or so we thought. Of course being the freshman that we are we assumed that since the light was turned off the meant that the room was locked. Of course once again no one wanted to make the first move to find out if the room really was locked or not so we all stood outside the room. Finally one brave young lady opened the door and turned the light on for us. .
             We all hurry into the room and find a desk. Of course this room is silent also. It was the same situation in my first class. Finally 15 minutes late our teacher walks into excusing himself because he had the wrong room. He breaks the silence and has us do an exercise not only for him to get to know us but us to get to know each other. In the long wrong it was a fantastic idea. After another hour my school day is over. I climb into my car and drive 45 minutes. home relieved that I made it through my first day. At home I finish homework and have some alone time until the next day when I have to head back to school for two more classes. .
             When I arrive a school the next day I walk towards the building with my schedule in hand. I find the right room and once again notice everyone sitting in the hallway.
