I think this because I wear a lot of name brand clothes and shoes. But then on the other hand, I think that I don't care if I have "popular" things or not.
Before I saw the name brand of clothes and electronics, I wasn't very materialistic. I started to be materialistic by following my family, friends, and what I saw on TV. Also, other types of people made me this way. I saw the clothes and shoes and whatever else I saw, and I started to like the name brand items. Then I started to buy and wear those same name brand items as I saw on TV.
Within my clothes, shoes, computer, and cell phone, I am very attached to those things because they happen to be name brands and have good quality. Without my computer, cell phone, name brand shoes and clothes, I would be lost and die.
In regard to viewing different materialistic ways, I feel Ambivalent. There are some people who only wear name brand items and they think they are all cool and popular. Then I know that others who wear name brand things but they could also care less about what they wear. And lastly, I know people who don't wear any name brand clothes what so ever, or they just can't afford the name brand things. .
Since we have talked about this subject, I think that everyone is materialistic even if it is just a little bit. Everyone in the world is a little bit materialistic. I think that a lot of people dress like their friends that wear all of the name bra things just so they can fit in and be apart of the crowd. Others don't care if they fit in. With that, this concludes my paper on How Materialistic I am.
