Homosexual Adoption

             This interview alone shows how an adopted child's sexual preference can be affected. With all of these problems compiled, it is sometimes hard for a child or adult that was involved in a homosexual adoption to keep his or her sanity. There have been no reports of homosexual adopted children loosing their sanity, but it is strongly possible. .
             Being adopted by homosexuals can also affect a child socially. A 13-year-old boy who was adopted by a lesbian was interviewed and had this to say, .
             "There's a rumor going around school that my mom's a lesbian and that there are naked women hanging all around our house . When people ask me about it, I say, "Hell, no! My mom's not a lesbian! Shut your face!" No one at school knows one hundred percent sure that my mom is gay and I haven't told them . but I think people will suspect. I figured it out [when] I was in kindergarten. my mom explained to me what being a lesbian was and what a great responsibility it was for me to know that she was. my mom has a lover now. we stay at her house on the weekends. They do a lot of hugging, touching and kissing. I know a lot of gay people, some who are my mom's friends. [One of his friends said gay wasn't good] he's sure not [my friend] any more. I am quite straight. I like girls very much.".
             This statement alone shows how being adopted by a homosexual can affect a child's social life including at school, in the community, and with the child's friends. .
             Succeeding the effect on children being adopted by homosexuals, they should not be able to adopt children because of the law established on homosexual adoption. The law established was written and most recently upheld by the Florida Senate. The law states in Chapter 63 (63.042) - Who may be adopted; who may adopt.
