Referring this story of Jesus with The Matrix it will also provide adequate meaning into which these two stories relate. The reason for this is because the storyline of the Matrix is very close to the story of Jesus the Messiah. Neo has been chosen asthe One? to save all human beings from being destroyed by the Matrix, Jesus, has been chosen by the almighty God to save humans from Sin which, in this case would be referred to as the Matrix. They both are around 30 years of age when they are both contacted by people they have been searching for pretty much their whole life and in turn they are chosen to be theOne? to save humans from being killed by things they take for granted in everyday life. As the both learn new things and ways to save the people they love, in the end they would both have to sacrifice their lives. In the case of the Matrix, Cypher, Trinity, Morpheus, Tank, Dozer, Switch, Apac and Mouse are the disciples of Neo in which they believe in that he is the one that they would risk their lives to take a chance and find out.
