             If there was a rise in tuition costs there could be major concerns for many parents and students facing years of higher education. Many careers today require education beyond high school diplomas. Money issues could be a possible concern with higher student tuition which could also lead to a decrease in the student enrollment. On the other hand, higher tuition could lead to students taking their studies more seriously, there would be more money for facilities and highly qualified professors.
             A probable result from higher tuition would be less students attending university and college. With fewer students attending, the amount of jobs available for staff in areas of kitchen, cleaning, and administration, could decrease. Courses could be cut due to this decrease in enrollment which would then lead to professors losing their jobs, because there would not be enough students for them to teach. This in turn would leave our population with fewer jobs and could create a higher rate of unemployment. If people who hold support staff positions lose their jobs and do not find other positions they may face living below the poverty line or on social assistance. .
             Many students would have to shop around for the school they could afford. This might lead to them leaving their home province and all probability is that they would not return home. So provinces that help their post secondary institutions stay within a reasonable tuition will eventually benefit if these students accept jobs locally.
             Higher tuition will result in large student loans. Families with a limited income might suffer because they will not be able to afford certain items that they were used to having before. Their income may not enable them to eat as healthy or seek medical or dental attention when needed. In order for the students to continue on with their studies they may have to rely on jobs to pay for their schooling, which could lead to their studies suffering.
