... is Ebonics? Ebonics, translated literally, means "Black Sounds". Historically in psychology they have referred to Ebonics by the name Black English. By whatever name, Ebonics is a way of communicating used primarily by black people. The controversy over Ebonics really didn't trigger in my mind until our discussion in English class, but as I though about it and did some research it's a major issue facing the literary ... feel that this is wrong and shun down upon another as if there not educated enough to even speak "Standard English". I feel there is no right or wrong in this situation....
